Where does it make sense that two top-ranked teams end the season with one loss each, the team ranked #3 having beaten the team ranked #1?
In BCS land, that's where.
PS -- No offense to Mark Daniels, but Ohio State? 10th-ranked, 10-2 Ohio State? Alabama and USC are ranked lower than Texas and have better bowl game opponents. Criminy.

I hope that you and yours had a good Christmas and that you enjoy the Buckeyes' victory over Texas.
By the way, I agree with you that Texas got the shaft and should be playing for the national championship.
Also: I'm not as confident about an OSU win as I made myself to be in the first sentence. But I do think that the Buckeyes became a better and better team throughout the year. Were it not for one fumble in the game against Penn State, Ohio State would have won the Big Ten outright, rather than sharing the title this year.
Hey sorry I didn't get to wish you a Merry Christmas sooner.
Oh and by the way, the Giants are still going to win the Superbowl.
We just got back in town from a very enjoyable Christmas with family.
